Owner of Belle Vie Cafe in Guilford, CT is originally from Romania and arrived in the united states in 2005. Alex graduated from the French Culinary Institute and has dedicated her life to making delicious pastries that are health conscious.

Alexandra Ayala Costache, originally from Romania, arrived in the United States in 2005. In 2009, Alex graduated from the French Culinary Institute (FCI) in Manhattan, eventually working her way up in the culinary world, starting at  L’escale in Greenwich, Ct, moving to The J House and then on to David’s Soundview Catering in Stamford.

In 2019, Alex opened her own business, Baked by Alexandra. Her mission was to create healthy options for a variety of baked goods while preserving the taste of the original recipes. This specialty led to a great following of those who could enjoy their favorites while still adhering to their dietary needs. 

Proud mom to two boys, Alex is now carrying out her dream with Belle Vie Cafe, creating an eatery specializing in Keto-friendly, gluten-free, paleo and diabetic-friendly dishes without sacrificing taste and flavor.
